Reflective of her commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, Linda served as UVU’s Utah Women in Higher Education Network chapter executive liaison, founding co-chair of UVU’s Women’s Council, an ambassador for the Utah Women’s Leadership Project, and mentor for the Utah Women’s Leadership Exchange. She earned her Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University and her Bachelor of Accounting from Utah Valley University. She continues to serve as a peer evaluator for the Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities. She brings 43 years of higher education experience and leadership in the areas of administration, budget, finance, planning, program development, policy, compliance, Title IX/EEO, institutional research, accreditation, and human resources. Linda Makin recently retired from Utah Valley University having most recently served as Vice President for Planning, Budget & Finance/CFO. He is a member of Scribes, the American Society of Legal Writers. He also serves on the Alumni Advisory Board of the law school and on the Religious Freedom Committee of the J. Linton has been an adjunct professor at BYU’s law school, teaching legal drafting since 2008. Linton has advised and been appointed to be the chief legal officer of a biotech company based in Provo. He also served on the Health Information and Technology Committee of the American Health Lawyers Association. Linton was a member of the Utah Constitutional Revision Commission from 1994 to 2006. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Utah. Nebeker, a judge on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and then for the Honorable Ralph R. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Frank Q. Linton completed his undergraduate studies at Yale and Brigham Young University and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from BYU’s J. His career at Intermountain Healthcare focused on corporate law, computer law, bioethics, and HIPAA regulation. Linton served as Senior Counsel at Intermountain Healthcare from 1982 until 2016. When she’s not working, she enjoys watching classic movies, gardening and relaxing with her partner, Steven and dachshund, Lily.Mr. Her dedication to improving the lives of her patients has earned her a reputation as a skilled and caring physician. Griffin has demonstrated a compassionate and patient-centered approach to medicine. For the past five years, she has worked in Mobile as an Urgent Care physician and as the medical director for Alabama Hospice Care. While in Lucedale, she also served as medical director for George County Health and Rehab. She has worked as a rural primary care physician in Lucedale, MS and gained invaluable experience working with a wide range of patients including pediatrics, women, geriatrics and hospice. Griffin’s commitment to comprehensive care led her to pursue a career serving diverse populations. She is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).ĭr. She returned home to complete a residency in Family Medicine at the University of South Alabama in 2012. in Psychology and Sociology from Loyola University in New Orleans, followed by her medical degree from Rush University in Chicago. She was born and raised in Mobile and attended Murphy High School. Jennifer Griffin is a dedicated medical professional with a diverse background in Family Medicine.
